Just Chewin' the Fat
Mama told you to chew your food so you didn’t choke on it
the way most of you adults eat
leads me to believe
that choking is the prime objective
Choking, from not chewing,
is the least of my concerns
The simple act of how well you chew
actually has rather far-reaching implications
if you’ve not chewed enough
the food is not small enough
for enzymes to break it down
if enzymes cannot break it down
you are not digesting
if you are not digesting
you are not absorbing
if you are not absorbing
you are not utilizing
what are you not utilizing?
Nutrients
and nutrients are what run the body
so the acquisition and utilization of nutrients
is a primary reason to eat
if you lack in chewing
you are lacking utilizable nutrition
said another way
you are in need of more nutrition
if you are in need of more nutrition
you are going to need more food
if you need more food
you will be hungry
and hungry more often
which means you will eat more
and you will eat more often
and if you eat more and eat more often
what do you suspect the result will be?
Trade the chatting for chewing
Stop chewin’ the fat while you’re chewin’ the fat
