Everyone has been raving about the delicious, fresh cream from Full Quiver Farms in Kemp, TX.  But I bet you didn’t know how easy it is to make REAL BUTTER from cream, in less than 15 minutes using a food processor!  Here’s how…

Step 1: Pour 1-2 cups of cold cream into food processor and turn it on.

Step 2: Cream will start to thicken and become whipped cream.   Keep mixing.

This is where you’d stop if you wanted fresh whipped cream with berries!  To make butter, keep going…

Step 3: Keep mixing in food processor until you see the whipped cream start to break apart and then start changing into a more yellow-ish color.  When it looks like this photo, you can stop mixing.  You’ve got butter, and the liquid is buttermilk.

Step 4: Scoop out the butter and put it in a sieve to drain out the buttermilk.  Run cold water over the butter to rinse it off.

Step 5: Add sea salt to flavor.  Then add any other ingredients you’d like! For savory butter, add fresh chopped herbs, or garlic.  For a sweet butter, add raw honey.  ENJOY!
