How are we doing?

Civilization is a reflection of its knowledge

-or could be said another way-

The state of a civilization is a reflection of what it believes to be true

-or-

The health of a civilization reflects the prevailing “wisdom” of the day

I could keep going, but you get the idea. The above statements being true what does that say about the American public?

2/3 of us are overweight, 1/2 of us will have cancer at some time in our life, World Health Organization estimates that at current pace every American will be obese by the year 2230, today Americans spend more money on fast food than they do on computers, computer software, new cars, and higher education, we consume 80% of the pharmaceuticals the world produces and yet we are among the sickest people in the world!

What we are thinking, what we believe to be true, the prevailing wisdom of the day IS NOT WORKING!
