A Retrospective of Days 5, 6, 7 ‘n 8
First and foremost a thousand apologies for my absence over the last few days. Life is CRAZY! But I have not broken the cleanse! Amongst chaos we can still eat healthy..But is that enough? NO WAY!
We have somehow been conditioned to think that health is little isolated incidents throughout the week. “I exercised 3 times this week” or “I have been eating really healthy breakfasts” or “I really relaxed Saturday afternoon” or “I slept 8 hours last night”…
Are we not at all times intimately connected to everyone and everything around us? If your spouse is sad and hurting does it not change your mood? If your stomach hurts from a bad meal does it not affect your interactions with one another? If the sky darkens with a heavy rain storm on the horizon do you not find yourself slowing down with thoughts of lying around and shrugging off activities and responsibilities? On the downpour of winter’s first snow do you not drop everything you are doing to twirl in the flurries while trying to catch a flake on your tongue? Of course you do. Why? Simple, because everything affects everything all the time!
If we are affected, in large or very small ways, all the time, and by everything, then health is not a matter of individual frames. It is ubiquitous.
Health is 24-7-365
Everyday: Choose foods that serve your well-being, move your body, take time for rest, relaxation, rejuvenation, and above all practice forgiveness
With Love – CK
